The Whole Process

The most important thing about making a good pico de gallo is the order in which you chop it. This is the order I tend to follow:

  • tomato

  • jalapeno

  • onion

  • cilantro

  • salt and pepper

  • lime juice


Ingredients

  • 2 Roma tomatoes

  • 1 jalapeno

  • 1/4 C chopped onion

  • 1/4 C chopped cilantro

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1 lime


Cut the tomatoes to be about this size:


Then chop up the rest of the vegetables and herbs. Then add salt, pepper, and the lime juice. Stir well and then serve with chips.
